Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-10
These terms govern use of ccscan.xyz — the Canton Network explorer and the Blueprint Canton Chain API — operated by Blueprint ("we", "us"). By using the site or the API you agree to them.
1. The service
ccscan provides read-only access to public Canton Network chain data: an index of on-chain transactions plus live data relayed from the network's public Scan API. The data originates on a public blockchain; we index, aggregate, and serve it but do not create it.
2. API access and rate limits
- Anonymous access is provided at a baseline rate limit per IP. Higher limits require an API key issued to your account or purchased plan.
- API keys are personal to the account that issued them. Keep them secret; you are responsible for traffic sent with your keys.
- We may throttle, suspend, or revoke access that circumvents rate limits, abuses the service, or degrades it for others.
3. Paid plans
Paid plans are billed by subscription through Stripe at the prices shown on /pricing. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Plan limits are described on the pricing page and returned live by GET /api/plans.
4. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe or breach its security, resell raw access without an agreement, or use the data to violate any law. Automated access is welcome within your rate limits — this includes AI agents.
5. No warranty
The service and data are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Chain data is derived from a public network and upstream sources we do not control; we work to keep the index accurate and fresh (see /status and the documentation for methodology) but do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or availability. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blueprint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. The API follows the stability and deprecation policy described in the documentation.
