Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-12
These terms govern use of ccscan.xyz — the Canton Network explorer and the Blueprint Canton Chain API — operated by Blueprint Infrastructure, LLC ("Blueprint", "we", "us"). By using the site or the API you agree to them. If you use them on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you're authorised to bind it.
1. The service
ccscan provides read-only access to public Canton Network chain data: an index of on-chain transactions plus live data relayed from the network's public Scan API. The data originates on a public blockchain; we index, aggregate, and serve it but do not create it.
2. Accounts and security
- Accounts are secured with passkeys (or social sign-in) and optional two-factor authentication — there is no password to leak.
- API keys are personal to the account that issued them. Keep them secret; you are responsible for all traffic sent with your keys.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised so we can revoke it.
3. API access and rate limits
- Anonymous access is provided at a baseline per-IP rate limit. Higher limits and included query volumes require an API key on the applicable plan.
- We may throttle, suspend, or revoke access that circumvents rate limits or quotas, abuses the service, or degrades it for others.
- Automated access — including AI agents — is welcome within your limits.
4. Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are billed by subscription through Stripe at the prices shown on /pricing and returned live by GET /api/plans. Fees are exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility where applicable. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, probe or breach its security, evade its limits, resell raw access without an agreement, or use the data to violate any law or any third party's rights. If you configure webhooks, you are responsible for the endpoints you point them at.
6. No warranty
The service and data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. Chain data is derived from a public network and upstream sources we do not control; we work to keep the index accurate and fresh (see /status and the documentation for methodology) but do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or availability. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blueprint is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service; on termination your right to use the service ends. The "no warranty", "limitation of liability", and any accrued-payment provisions survive termination.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. The API follows the stability and deprecation policy described in the documentation.
